This project focused on designing a complete café menu for Earth Bowls in Heidelberg, with the goal of translating the client’s vision into a tangible and coherent visual experience.
From the beginning, the client emphasized that the menu should reflect the café’s interior design, its natural atmosphere, and the freshness of the products offered. My approach was to treat the menu not as a standalone printed piece, but as an extension of the café’s space and identity.
The design language was built around organic elements, soft earthy colors, and botanical details that mirror the café’s décor and its focus on fresh, healthy, and handcrafted bowls. Typography and layout were carefully structured to ensure clarity, easy navigation, and a calm reading flow, while still maintaining a warm and inviting character.
Special attention was given to balancing aesthetics with functionality. Each category was clearly separated, pricing was easy to scan, and the overall structure supports both quick decisions and relaxed browsing. The final result is a menu that visually communicates the café’s philosophy and enhances the guest experience, while fully meeting the client’s technical and print requirements.
